We are looking for an experienced Web/Visual Designer and Front-End Developer to join our award-winning creative team at HDG on a full-time basis. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who is confident that they can hit the ground running.
For this role, you must have excellent graphic design skills with at least five years of experience in developing WordPress websites taking designs from concept ideation to finalization, while ensuring they are in alignment with branding guidelines. As someone who will be working directly with clients, you must also have strong communication skills and be well organized and a problem solver. You are both a team player and self-starter!
While this position is fully remote, our company is based in Princeton, New Jersey operating in eastern standard time.
Job responsibilities:
Work with a seasoned team of designers and developers to design and build WordPress Websites; assist with all other web-related creative projects such as the creation of landing pages, emails, and digital ads; help with website maintenance and updates; and mentor and oversee design and development work of junior project members.
Requirements:
- Highly proficient in WordPress and Adobe CC Suite
- 5-8 years of experience in WordPress and proficiency with Elementor.
- Expertise in HTML5 and CSS
- Experience developing design concepts in Figma
- Proven experience in the adoption of web design, UX design, and accessibility best practices.
- JavaScript and PHP skills, a plus!
