Our education marketing team is traveling to Philadelphia this week to attend the annual conference for the National Council for Marketing and PR—an organization that exclusively represents marketing and PR professionals at community and technical colleges throughout the US.  As specialists in admissions marketing, we are looking forward to meeting these professionals who are gathering from every state in the Northeast. We’re also excited to announce that we will be giving away a 2-hour marketing creative consultation as part of the End-of-Conference Prize Raffle.

Howard Design has been providing education marketing services for schools, colleges, and universities since 1982. We work alongside our clients to craft marketing programs designed to meet recruitment goals. From brand identity and creative to admissions marketing strategy, our team can help educational institutions address immediate needs, while creating a sound new direction for tomorrow.

We’re very aware of the marketing challenges facing community colleges at this time. Some of the questions that we’re expecting to hear over the next few days include:

  • We have a wonderful partnership with a four-year college for students looking to complete a bachelor degree. What’s the best way to promote this to prospective students?
  • How do we best introduce the 2/2 Program with our four-year colleges?
  • We’d like to attract more international students. How do we do this, and what is the most effective way to communicate with this audience?
  • Our admissions materials are looking out-of-date and boring. We need something that better reflects our school and connects with Generation Z, but not sure if print is still the way to go. What do you think?
  • And more

If you’re attending the conference, please drop by our table, say hello, and ask us your questions! We’ve also put together a fabulous box of Princeton-area treats to give away to one lucky visitor.  Don’t miss out, come see us!
