We’re so excited to make this announcement! HDG won gold, silver, and bronze awards at this year’s NJ Communications, Advertising, and Marketing Association’s 2019 ASTRA Awards for both print and digital design work.
Congratulations to our clients, the University Center for Human Values at Princeton University, Eden Autism Services, and Ross University School of Medicine. We are thrilled to be sharing this industry-wide recognition with these organizations and the marketing teams that we work with.
This was the first time that HDG submitted entries in this competition. The experience was extremely positive, and we would definitely encourage other creative teams to participate next year. The gala and award ceremony was held at Jasna Polana in Princeton, NJ. Not only was the location stunning, we had a fabulous time mingling with other professionals from agencies and organizations across the region.
One of the highlights of the evening was a presentation by guest speaker, Nick Primola, Executive Vice President, head of industry leadership strategy and the chief marketing officer practice for the Association of National Advertisers (ANA). Titled Take Back Marketing: Changing the Game for Modern Marketers, Primola discussed some of the major initiatives being put in place by the Global CMO Growth Council to help chief marketers navigate today’s priorities for organization’s across the globe, including:
- Preparing marketers for a business environment where having a better understanding of how to use data and technology to fuel innovation and drive growth is key.
- Talent acquisition and the industry’s need to better communicate career opportunities and paths to attract top college graduates—we do really cool stuff every single day, we should talk about it!
- A desire to reframe marketing for what it is now—leading an enterprise-wide effort to manage the brand as an experience fueled by innovation and creativity.
- Developing a roadmap to help marketers positively impact society and sustainability in a way that also drives growth.
