We are looking for an experienced Web Designer & Front-End Developer to join our award-winning creative team at HDG, on a temporary basis. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who is confident that they can hit the ground running.
For this role, you must have excellent graphic design skills with at least five years of experience in developing WordPress websites, digital ads, and emails—taking designs from concept ideation to finalization, while ensuring they are in alignment with branding guidelines. As someone who will be working directly with clients, you must also have strong communication skills, be a great listener, and be well organized. A team player and self-starter!
This is a six month contract with the possibility of joining HDG full-time. Located in Princeton, NJ, we’re currently working in our office part-time, and remotely during the rest of the week. You may work remotely full-time or join us in the office.
Job responsibilities:
Working with a seasoned team of designers and developers, design and build WordPress Websites; assist with all other web-related creative projects such as the creation of landing pages, emails, and digital ads; and website maintenance.
Requirements:
- Proficient in WordPress and Adobe CC Suite
- 5-8 years of experience in WordPress and proficiency with Elementor.
- Expertise in HTML5 and CSS
- Familiarity with web best practices, page speed optimization, accessibility, image formatting etc.
- JavaScript and PHP skills, a plus!
